Ambedkarite Buddhist Association of Texas (ABAT) is a 501(c)(3) Federal Tax exempt, non-profit organization, whose primary purpose is to promote Ambedkar Buddhism by adopting the 3 basic principles:

At Mahabodhi International Buddhist Center Vihara, we believe a community grows stronger when every voice, every family, and every helping hand comes together with shared purpose. Throughout the year, our group hosts a wide range of activities — from learning sessions on Buddhism, outdoor camping trips, temple visits, and meditation gatherings to celebrating Dhamma Chakra Parivartan Din and many more meaningful events that bring joy, knowledge, and connection.
